Sting to start selling wine

Getty Images Word is that Sting is planning to market a wine made at his country estate in Tuscany.

The Associated Press says "Some 30,000 bottles of wine produced on the property will go on sale in September, mainly in Britain and the United States."

The Police frontman purchased a 16th-century villa, called Il Palagio, in Figline Valdarno, a small village south of Florence, in 1997.

Avril Lavigne to launch fragrance

Getty Images Avril Lavigne is set to launch her first fragrance. (Oh boy!) She wrote on her website last week, "I'm traveling to London next week where I'm about to announce my latest project .......... my very first fragrance! :)

I'm really excited and can't wait to share it with you. It will be available across Europe this summer, and soon in the US and Canada.

It has been a pretty cool experience. It's so me in a bottle....hahaha! I love the packaging. I wanted to let you guys know the name first ... so.....(drum roll please).......hahah..... The name is "Black Star"!"

Vanilla Ice sorry for 'Ice Ice Baby'

Getty Images Rob "Vanilla Ice" Van Winkle has issued a video apology for his early fame, music, hair and pants.

"I'm sorry," the once biggest rapper in the world says with what appears to be a tongue firmly planted in his cheek. "Even though Ice Ice Baby sold over 40 million copies worldwide, I have no excuses…I'm sorry for the hairdos, the baggy pants, the scandals, the lies, the gangs, and I'm sorry about the music."

Icy Van Winkle then proceeds to make excuses, even though he says he has no excuses – and I must say I don't think excuses are required. Ice Ice Baby is an awesome song. (If there was a problem, yo, he'll solve it. Check out the hook while his DJ revolves it.)
